Update System Time on a DD-WRT router

Follow the steps below for setting System Time on a DD-WRT router to synchronize with a public time server using the NTP client:

Step 1: Log on to the DD-WRT router’s control panel by entering the router’s default address 192.168.1.1 to the address bar of your preferred browser. (If you changed your router's default IP address, enter that into your browser instead).

Step 2: Scroll down to reach the Time Settings section and Enable NTP Client.

Step 3: Choose the appropriate Time Zone and Summer Time in your location.

Step 4: Enter the domain name or IP address of the time server (pool.ntp.org) in the Server IP/Name field.

Step 5: Click the Save and Apply Settings buttons to synchronize with the NTP server.

Step 6: Reboot the router to reflect the time change.
